Black Dahlia Lacquer | indie polish review

** disclaimer: this polish was provided to me by the company for review, buy but that does not influence my review**

Today I have 4 beautiful polishes from Black Dahlia Lacquer to share with you. 3 of them are from their Holiday Micro Glitter Trio, rubella and the other is a re-release.

These polishes have a great formula! They go on nice and smooth, and I could’ve gotten away with only one coat, but for these swatches I used 2 coats.

holiday trio and sparklefest

This first one is called [silver lotus]. This is a shimmering silver micro glitter with a subtle linear holo finish. This is gorgeous! This is part of the Holiday Micro Glitter Trio.

Silver Lotus

This next one is called [vibrant poinsettias]. I LOVE this shimmering red leaning pink! Such a festive holiday shade. It has light and dark gold micro glitter, red glass flecks and the appearance of a scattered holo finish.

The 3rd polish in this trio is called [texas ice flower]. I normally can’t wear blues, but this one actually works nicely with my skin tone. This is a pale turquoise shimmer with blue glass flecks, silver micro glitter and a subtle linear holo finish.

Here are some macros of this gorgeous trio!

Holiday Micro Glitter Trio

This last swatch is of the re-release of [sparklefest]. This is a top coat filled with silver holographic glitter of different sizes in both squares and hexes and loaded with blue shimmer, allowing it to provide a different look based on the base coat color choice. I paired it with [wine roses] (also from Black Dahlia Lacquer; a purchase I made a couple of weeks ago). It has an almost galaxy mani feel to it!
